It was when I stopped searching for home within others and lifted the foundations of home within myself, I found there were no roots more intimate than those between a mind and body that have decided to be whole.

Hi, I’m Stacey, and this is the most put together I ever look.

I love to stim by touching things to my face and lips.

I’m a therapist by trade, and something of a badass.

Rainbow background with text: 'She believed she could, but she ran out of spoons, so she didn’t'—a nod to chronic illness and self-compassion.

I work with human beings trying to be more compassionate and liberated human beings.

The people I work with tend to cry a lot. They usually have a lot of relational trauma and carry a lot of grief. They are extraordinarily kind, brave, and empathic, but are frequently misunderstood and shamed.

They hunger to be more alive and joyful. They enjoy nature and animals, and struggle more with other people. They desperately want to experience pleasure, and they suffer a lot.

They enjoy learning and can be endlessly curious about a subject that interests them. They take their interests deep and wide. They have sharp minds and well-honed intellect, but they are willing to go when I invite them into their bodies (despite it being fucking scary).

When they feel safe, they can access an almost childlike sense of wonder and awe. They feel everything intensely, but might not know the word for what they feel.

They feel alone a lot.

They never drink enough water.

I work best with people who tell the truth, and who like it when I tell the truth.

Cartoon tissue box with a rainbow and a smiley face. Text reads: 'If you got issues, I got tissues.'

Have you grown tired?
Of feeling alone
Numb to the earth
And numb to the soul

Eyes wide open
Unafraid to be alive
You're living and you're breathing
Feels like, the very first time
